Clicker Training Classes!
Gone are the days of large, impersonal classes taught using outdated, painful methods. You and your dog deserve the best: personal, small sessions (four per class!), all with a focus on HOW your dog learns, rather than WHAT they learn.
Canine Comfort offers session options for people who are ready to learn positive, pain-free, science-based training methods. These methods are used to build foundation skills for a lifetime of useful, solid behaviors. And your dog? They are focused & happy and joyfully participate in training sessions.
Clicker training is fast, effective, fun, and builds a strong relationship between dog and handler based on trust and mutual respect. You'll be bonding with your dog in a force-free, pain-free, punishment-free trusting environment where the dog is challenged to think and engage rather than be a passive recipient of information.

Puppy Start Right (puppies 8-16 weeks)
Congratulations! You’re the proud “parent” of a new puppy. Puppies are fun and exciting but also require much guidance, love, support, and training. Puppy Start Right focuses on exploration, socialization, and positive solutions to everyday dog behavior. We’ll introduce the training clicker and begin working on some foundational skills. Let's get you and your new doggo off to a great start! Class limit: 4. (Minimum enrollment to hold each session is 3.
Manners 101 (4 months and older)
This five week session is a combination of classes and one-on-one private coaching. Week 1: orientation; Week 2: Private coaching session, Week 3: group class, Week 4: group class, Week 5: Private coaching session. This unique session will focus on foundational skills that will create a sound basis for lifelong learning. We will introduce: targeting, settling on a mat, offering behavior, responding to a cue, and giving attention to the handler. Class limit: 4. (Minimum enrollment to hold each session is 3.)
"Help for the Handler" private coaching sessions
Do you need guidance and assistance on a particular training issue? Never fear! “Help for the Handler” is here! Register for a 50-minute session with Molly - she will provide education, training tips, and alternative behaviors to help you eliminate a problem behavior. These sessions are private, one-on-one opportunities for you and your dog to work with a professional in a low-stress environment.
